Questions

Does my parent need a smartphone or an app?

No. Ami calls their ordinary phone, landline or mobile. They just pick up and talk.

Will they know it is an AI?

Yes. Ami introduces itself as an AI companion the family set up, and your parent agrees to the calls. Many enjoy it precisely because Ami is always patient and always has time.

Is Ami a doctor or a carer?

No. Ami does not diagnose or give medical advice. It notices what your parent says and tells you, and in an emergency it tells them to call for help and lets you know.

Who can read the notes and stories?

Only the family members you add. Data is stored in the EU, call transcripts are deleted after 90 days, and summaries and stories stay until you delete them.

Which languages?

Ami speaks the language your parent speaks: English, Romanian, Spanish, Italian, French, German and more.

Can we stop at any time?

Yes, any time. Your parent can also simply tell Ami to stop calling.
